In this brief I was required to design a London underground poster advertising the 'Club to Catwak' exhibition currently showing at the V&A Museum.
I felt this brief was fast moving and made me work above my abilities. i felt challenged. researching the different artists gave me ideas and i have put each one of their styles into my outcomes. from research i understand that the London Underground is busy and i will need something to grabs someones attention and it is important to communicate and with the selected target audience in the case is every one. i think i hit this with the outcome of my posters.
from my last brief i learnt how to work with a client and produce a design that will apply to a range of people i brought this into the current brief. As this work is for a huge target it is important to produce a professional looking outcome, on this poster a lot of tome was spent using rulers to make sure text line up and was given some space away from the edge of the page so it is easy to read.
i think the color used in the poster are eye catching and how the black background will stand out if pleased next to a normal white poster
i like the link between the two posters and my artists i research.
Overall the poster fun and creative and i have worked in a different style to mine to produce the final outcome, I am pleased and excited about the posters, if i could change anything i would spend more time with my text and experiment with they way David Carson explores the i could make the body copy more creative.
