Final Digital Outcomes

Large 48 sheet poster ( 6.3 cm x 8.4 cm) per sheet

After looking at this poster i think it is playful and the V&A logo have hierarchy they your eyes are next drawn to the Club To Catwalk and the information, i like how the zipper bleeds off the page and you can imagine how the pattern would carry on. like the artist Yiying Lu by background is coloured and i have left negative space making it interesting on the eye, my text are revered out which make them stand out and easy to read.

smaller 6 sheet poster ( 1200 mm x 1800 mm - 15 cm x 22.5 cm ) per sheet

This poster is really bright but the black background cools it down a bit so its not like looking at yellow on a white page as that strains your eyes and is hare to see, i have chosen colours from the 80's to relate to the exhibition, i like how the colored smoke layers over the V&A logo a little it brings depth to the poster. i chose to have the illustration the main focus of the poster so it will appeal to people walking through the tube because they will not see a poster full with white and black text.

i like the formation going along the side of the poster it, because of the way the illustration is vertical your eyes reads the page from Club To Catwalk to the illustration then to the exhibition information. over all i like the link the two posters have and the colors used.

the posters where crested on Adobe illustrator, using a black ground and following artist i researched i used the pen tool to create colored smoke, and suing the pant bucked selected my colors of choice.

the zipper was based on the fashion theme, I used the Bamboo drawing tablet a d the pen tool to create my designs and added color using the paint bucked, all work was grouped and sized to fit my selected page.
